KuroBas Cup 2015 event ended with great annoucement on Sunday, it was announced the launch of new theatrical film production based on the anime series Kuroko's Basketball. No more details have been announced thus far.
Tadatoshi Fujimaki launched the original manga series in the "Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in 2008, and the final volume was published last year by Shueisha.
Fujimaki then launched a sequel manga Kuroko's Basketball Extra Game in Shueisha's Jump Next Magazine on December 29. Since April the manga series got more than 27 million copies in circulation.
The first season of TV anime Kuroko's Basketball which is adapted from manga aired in April 2012 and continued until September of the same year.The second season began airing in October 2014 and ended in March, while the third season premiered in January of the current year 2015.
