The official website of the TV anime "Soukyuu no Fafner" began streaming a promotional video for the second season which features the opening song "Dead or Alive" Angela, The anime series is scheduled to begin airing on TBS in October 2, 2015.

The story takes place in 2151, two years after the events of the film "Sokyu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor: Heaven and Earth". The staff and cast will return from the first season.
