A new TV anime adaptation for Itachi Shinden Spinoff Novels has been announced during the Naruto stage program which held at Jump Festa event in Tokyo. The series will be titled "Naruto Shippuden: The True Legend of Itachi Light and Darkness" and it is set for release in spring 2016.
Besides that, the official twitter account of Naruto Movie has confirmed the announcement.

In addition, TV Tokyo has unveiled the main visual for the upcoming anime which shows a tagline reads as: "In Spring 2016, the Truth arc starts."
